Biophilic Design: 14 Patterns for the built environment

This webinar will discuss the science of biophilia and biophilic design and how it can promote health-conscious built environments and furniture to meet the functional, aesthetic, and technological and experiential needs of a diverse clientele. The webinar reviews project case studies, our visual and material connection to nature, and concepts of prospect and refuge. It also touches on biophilic manufacturing and guest experience.

The course encourages biophilic design concepts as applied to commercial, hospitality, and education interior design and furniture. The course aims to share a vision for how biophilia can inspire new and innovative projects benefiting our well-being.
